But because Obama has been heralded as the exponent of "hope" and "change," and because the majority of Americans exhibit an endless capacity for crediting the most meaningless of slogans, many people will continue to struggle to convince themselves that somehow things might have been worse had he not been elected.

US drone attack kills more Pakistanis

At least 15 Pakistani people have been killed as a US drone fired missiles into alleged al-Qaeda and Taliban targets in near Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Several persons were trapped under the debris of the seminary building after the attack. US spy planes were still hovering over the region creating panic and fear among the residents.
