SPECIAL REPORT (VIDEO) Debt and Murder by Design: Down with the WTO! Down with the World Bank! Down with the IMF! Documentary by John Pilger.
In this special report journalist John Pilger does a case study in globalization by closely examining the economic and military enslavement of the Indonesian population via the actions and policies of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Word Bank, and World Trade Organization (WTO). (The ever-excellent Michel Chossudovsky is a consultant on this piece.) I do hate to call it a "case study," considering that it is a report on the enslavement and murder of millions of Indonesians... however, in this world, it is "just" one case study among many: This Is What These Organizations Do To People And Nations All Over The World, MURDER & ENSLAVE. Especially poignant in this 2001 video are Pilger's interviews with some of the persons who make up such organizations, such as Stanley Fischer of the IMF; I believe any free human will find their justifications for their actions utterly unacceptable. The World Bank, the IMF and the WTO are nothing better than alliances of slave traders and mass murderers, who should be arrested, tried and held accountable. And whatever other consequences should befall them under the law, they should perhaps most importantly be stripped of ALL their wealth and ALL their possessions so that they have no power to continue destroying lives. If you don't think this to be the case, or if you think I am overstating the case, please investigate these organizations; they withstand very little real scrutiny. The members of such organizations are the very worst kind of elitists, and as such they believe that they know what is best for the world, and by "the world" they do not mean humanity, they mean their own empires, their own families, and their own personal aspirations for control over others. And yes, they clearly are aiming at a world government controlled by very few people. It is shameful, it is disgusting, it is murderous, and it must END.
The New Rulers of the World: A Special Report on the enslavement and mass murder of Indonesians by John Pilger: (~53 min.):
Down with the WTO!
Down with the World Bank!
Down with the IMF!
We do not want you. We do not need you.
Human beings are, and shall always be, free!
Description from google: Award-winning journalist, John Pilger, investigates the realities of globalization by taking a close look at Indonesia. In order to examine the true effects of globalization, Pilger turns the spotlight on Indonesia, a country described by the World Bank as a model pupil until its globalized economy collapsed in 1998. The film examines the use of sweatshop factories by famous brand names, and asks some penetrating questions. Who are the real beneficiaries of the globalized economy? Who really rules the world now? Is it governments or a handful of huge companies? The Ford Motor Company alone is bigger than the economy of South Africa. Enormously rich men, like Bill Gates, have a wealth greater than all of Africa. Pilger goes behind the hype of the new global economy and reveals that the divisions between the rich and poor have never been greater -- two thirds of the world's children live in poverty -- and the gulf is widening like never before. The film looks at the new rulers of the world -- the great multinationals and the governments and institutions that back them -- the IMF and the World Bank. Under IMF rules, millions of people throughout the world lose their jobs and livelihood. The reality behind much of modern shopping and the famous brands is a sweatshop economy, which is being duplicated in country after country.
